Getting Started

  • To be able to start taking driving lessons, you will need to be at least 17 years old and have a provisional driving licence.
  • You can apply for your provisional driving licence up to 3 months before your 17th birthday.
  • Applications for your provisional driving licence can be made online or by picking up an application form from the post office.
  • The provisional licence usually takes a few weeks to arrive but once you have it you can book your first lesson!
  • To get your full driving licence you will need to pass the theory test (including the hazard perception section) and the practical test. Further details on these tests can be found here
